This episode’s cold-open starts off the main premise of the show. Oscar is in Michael’s office giving him the overall budget for the fiscal year. He lets Michael know that the branch has a surplus in the budget for $4300.00. If they don’t spend it by the end of the day, it will be deducted from next year’s budget. Michael is a bit confused by this. He tells Oscar, “why don’t you explain it to me like I am an eight year old”. So, Oscar dumbs it down for him a bit. Michael still looks befuddled. He tells Oscar, “explain it to me like I am five”. ha ha

Meredith has a new “Sex in the Electric City” blog up. This one is entitled, “Younger Guys”. I like it already.

Here is an excerpt:

“Men are like fine bottles of PBR, you can still enjoy ‘em when they age, but after a while they start to smell and taste a little skunky. That’s why I like my men young and fresh. With guys my age, all I have to do is show a little skin and they’re promising me the Moon Over My Hammy breakfast at Denny’s if I’ll agree to stay the night.”

Hey Guys,

I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving! I know I did, and I’m still feeling the effects from all the food. If your Thankgiving felt kind of “incomplete” that’s probably because there was no new Office episode. So I Have a few things to help fill this gap in your life.

First of all, NBC.com has posted a new Webisode in “Oscar’s Outburst” series.

Furthermore, I have two Promos for your viewing pleasure for the next new Office episode “The Surplus” which will air December 2.

Hey guys! Thanks for your patience. I was away and only just recently got a chance to see last week’s episode, “Frame Toby”. I have to say, I loved it! Alright, there were a few bits that annoyed me, but more on that later in the recap.

The show begins with the staff in the breakroom happily noshing on brownies. The camera cuts to Kevin, who is stuffing brownies in his mouth at an alarming speed. Of course, Angela can’t just let that slip by without an rude comment. She tells him, “you’re eating those so fast, are they even touching your tongue?”. Mouth full, Kevin sheepishly mumbles, “yes”, as crumbs spew from his lips.

The first 2 deleted scenes from “Frame Toby” have been posted. The first is rather funny in that involves more drama surrounding the unclean microwave. The second is equally as funny.

There’s a new series of Office webisodes being posted on NBC.com. You can see them there or over at Hulu.

The series is entitled “The Outburst”. I saw the first episode and it definitely brings a good laugh.

  The show opens with Jim happily whistling as he goes about his work day. Seems Pam is due home in 6.5 days. His fellow employees are also aware of this. Everyone is congratulating him and marking the days till his true love comes home right along with him. Which Jim finds sweet, and also “intrusive and weird”.  I personally thought it was adorable. It shows how well the staff interacts with each other after working together for so long.  Just like a family. Oh geez, now I sound like Michael Scott!
